Commercial Stainless Kitchen Fit-out

Custom stainless benches, sinks and splashbacks for a new hospitality venue.

The challenge: A new hospitality venue needed a complete stainless steel kitchen fabricated to a tight architect's drawing. The brief included a long prep bench with integrated sink, a splashback that had to follow an uneven wall, and a pass-through canopy. The walls were out of true, and the kitchen handover date was fixed.

Our approach: We templated the wall on site rather than trusting the drawing dimensions. The splashback was fabricated in sections with a slight reveal that hid the wall's unevenness. The prep bench was built in 304 stainless, TIG welded, with a rounded sink recess and continuous hygienic seams. We dry-fitted the major sections in the workshop before delivery, so installation on site was bolting, sealing and final welding only.

The outcome: The kitchen was installed over two days with no on-site rework. The splashback sat flush against the uneven wall, the bench was level and sealed, and the venue passed its health inspection on the first presentation. The chef commented that the bench “wipes clean like it should”.
